Through partnering with parents and carers, and under the sovereignty of God, we long for our children and young people here at CityGates to know Jesus, to love Jesus, to stand for Jesus and to live for Jesus. We believe that this starts right from when little ones join our church family!
Sundays
We aim to teach children about Jesus even from our youngest children’s groups. After spending the first part of the service with the whole church family, our toddlers are taken by their parents/carers to their age-appropriate group (please see our children or youth page to see more of our Sunday groups).

Mustard Seeds

Little Beans
6 months to 2 years old // 9:30am and 11:15am
2 years old to 4 years old // 9:30am and 11:15am
This group starts with singing and snacks, followed by a short, interactive Bible talk to learn one big truth about God. This is followed by lots of time playing with toys, and a craft for those who are old enough.
Just like Mustard Seeds, this group starts with singing and snacks, followed by a short, interactive Bible talk to learn one big truth about God. This is followed by craft time and lots of time to play with toys.
If you’re new or visiting us, there’s always someone directing people where to go on a Sunday. If you have any questions before you come, please feel free to contact us with the form below – we’d love to hear from you!

Midweek
Smarties
Babies and pre-schoolers // Every Friday during term-time // 9:45am – 11:15am
Smarties is our stay-and-play group for babies and pre-schoolers and their parent(s)/carer(s). After lots of time to play with a wide range of toys, we enjoy snack time together, followed by a time of singing and Bible story-time. Our Smarties team is full of friendly faces who would love to meet your little one and you too. You can enjoy getting to know the team and other parents/carers over tea/coffee and refreshments!

The suggested cost for each session is a voluntary donation of 50p per child. Anyone below school age is welcome to come along, and there’s no need to book! We’ll just ask you to fill out a basic registration form when you arrive for the first time. If you have any questions, please get in touch using the form below!
Safeguarding
All our youth and children’s leaders and volunteers hold a current DBS and operate within our Safeguarding policy (copy available upon request). For more information, including how to contact our designated safeguarding lead, click here.
